We are an organization made up of people in Ottawa who have each experienced our own grief, and who have decided to share our courage and knowledge with others. We honour our loved ones and are supportive of self-care.

Butterfly Release
On July 12, people in Ottawa will gather to honour and remember their loved ones by video conference, broadcast from Beechwood's Sacred Space and Memorial Gardens. Invitations will be distributed to people who donate $50 or more to BFO Ottawa in May, June and up until July 9. For more information, please visit our News section or our Calendar.
Tree of Life
Each year before the holidays begin we come together to remember and honour our loved ones at the Tree of Life candlelight remembrance ceremony, which takes place indoors @ Beechwood's Sacred Space. Participants hang their personalized ornaments on the tree and light a candle in memory of their loved ones.
