BFO is offering a Half Day Grief Workshop for Children, Youth, Parents and/or Guardians that Bereaved Families of Ontario – Ottawa Region is offering.
When a child or youth experiences the death of someone important in their life, it can raise many questions and feelings for the whole family. The workshop is designed to provide a gentle and supportive space where children, youth, and the parents or guardians who care for them can learn about grief together and explore ways to support one another.
During the workshop, participants will have the opportunity to:
• Learn about how children and youth may experience grief at different ages
• Explore healthy ways to express thoughts and feelings
• Participate in simple, guided activities
• Connect with other families who are also navigating loss

Age groups: (5-9) – (10-13) – (14.17) Children must be accompanied by parent or guardian.
Parking: Free parking is available on the side streets. Parking is available behind the building for a fee.
